User Roles & Permissions

DenTrackPro uses role-based access control. Each staff member is assigned a role that determines what they can see and do in the system.

Superadmin

Full access to all modules and settings across the entire system.

  • Manage all users, roles, and permissions
  • Configure clinic settings, procedures, and branches
  • Access all patient records, billing, and reports
  • Manage subscriptions and platform settings
  • View audit logs and error logs

Dentist

Focused on clinical operations and patient care.

  • View and update patient records and medical history
  • Perform dental charting with FDI notation
  • Create and manage treatment plans and quotations
  • Issue prescriptions and medical certificates
  • Manage appointments on their calendar
  • Record treatments and procedures

Receptionist

Handles front-desk and administrative operations.

  • Register new patients and update patient information
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments
  • Create and manage invoices and payments
  • Apply discounts and promos to invoices
  • Manage installment plan payments

Patient

Limited self-service access through the Patient Portal.

  • View their own appointment history and upcoming schedules
  • View treatment plans and history
  • Check billing and installment status
  • Download receipts and invoices
  • View and sign medical consents

Custom Permissions

Superadmins can fine-tune permissions for each role on a per-module basis. Go to Settings > Permissions to configure granular access control.
