Managing Inventory
DenTrackPro includes an inventory module to help clinics track dental supplies and materials used during procedures.
Adding Items to Inventory
- Go to Inventory in the main navigation
- Click Add Item
- Enter the item name, unit of measure (e.g., box, piece, ml), and current stock quantity
- Optionally set a low-stock alert threshold
- Save
Branch-Level Stock
Inventory is tracked per branch. Each clinic location maintains its own stock levels, making it easy to manage supplies across multiple branches independently.
Recording Usage
Inventory consumption can be linked to appointments. When a procedure is completed, the materials used are deducted from the stock count automatically or manually by staff.
Stock Adjustments
To manually adjust stock levels (e.g., after a delivery or stocktake), open the item and click Adjust Stock. Enter the new quantity and a reason for the adjustment. All adjustments are logged for accountability.
Low Stock Alerts
When an item's stock falls below its set threshold, a notification is triggered so the clinic can reorder in time.
