SMS & Email Reminders
DenTrackPro automatically sends appointment reminders to patients via SMS and email, reducing no-shows and keeping patients informed.
How Reminders Work
When a patient is booked for an appointment, the system schedules a reminder to be sent automatically at the configured time before the appointment. No manual action is required.
Configuring Reminders
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Enable SMS reminders and/or email reminders
- Set how many hours before the appointment the reminder should be sent (e.g., 24 hours, 2 hours)
- Customize the reminder message template if needed
- Save your settings
SMS Provider
SMS notifications are sent via Semaphore, a Philippine SMS gateway. Make sure your Semaphore API key and sender name are configured in Settings.
Email Notifications
Email reminders are sent using your configured SMTP settings. Emails include the appointment date, time, dentist name, and clinic address.
