Managing Patient Records
DenTrackPro stores comprehensive patient information in one centralized profile.
Patient Profile
Each patient profile includes:
- Personal information (name, birthdate, address, contact details)
- Profile photo
- Medical history, allergies, and pre-existing conditions
- Dental chart and tooth-level treatment history
- Appointment history and upcoming schedules
- Invoices, payments, and installment plans
- Treatment plans and quotations
- Prescriptions and medical certificates
- Uploaded documents and X-rays (up to 10MB per file)
Adding a New Patient
- Go to Patients and click Add Patient
- Fill in required fields: first name, last name, and contact number
- Complete the medical history questionnaire
- Upload a profile photo (optional)
- Click Save — a unique patient ID (e.g., P2025-001) is automatically generated
Searching and Filtering Patients
Use the search bar to find patients by name, phone number, or patient ID. Use filters to view patients by status (Active, Inactive) or upcoming birthdays.
Updating Patient Information
Click Edit on any patient profile to update their details. All changes are automatically logged in the audit trail.
Patient Status
- Active: Current patients with regular visits
- Inactive: Patients who haven't visited recently
- Pending Approval: Patients registered via online booking awaiting confirmation
